HAUS OF LABS
AOD-9604 5mg is a synthetic peptide derived from the C-terminal region of human growth hormone (hGH), corresponding to amino acids 177–191. Unlike full-length growth hormone, AOD-9604 was designed to investigate the lipolytic and metabolic activity associated with this specific region of the hormone.
How It Works:
AOD-9604 has been studied for its interaction with pathways involved in fat metabolism, particularly the processes of lipolysis and lipogenesis.
Preclinical research has demonstrated that AOD-9604 can increase lipolytic activity — the breakdown of stored triglycerides into fatty acids — while research in adipose tissue has also investigated its ability to inhibit lipogenesis, the formation and storage of new fat.
Animal studies have reported reductions in body-weight gain and increased fat oxidation following AOD-9604 administration. Research has also investigated changes involving beta-adrenergic signalling and adipose-tissue metabolism.
Research Areas:
• Lipolysis and adipose-tissue metabolism
• Fatty-acid oxidation
• Lipogenesis
• Energy metabolism
• Adipocyte signalling
• Metabolic pathway research
• Growth-hormone fragment research
AOD-9604 is not the same as recombinant human growth hormone and is not intended to reproduce all of the biological effects of full-length GH. Current evidence includes substantial laboratory and animal research, while evidence for weight-loss or body-composition benefits in humans remains limited.
